Re: [conduit] missing and incomplete GFS grids on CONDUIT feed

David,

Are you using a split feed to get conduit data or a single request line? We've
found that splitting the feed into multiple request lines can have a huge
impact on getting CONDUIT data with much smaller lags than you are seeing on
freshair2.

We're using a 10-way split and our lags have recently been less then 30-60s
even with the additional data from the GFS FV3 update.

Pete

Subject: [conduit] missing and incomplete GFS grids on CONDUIT feed

Hello CONDUIT users,

For today's 12Z cycle (2019062512), we are seeing several forecast
hours incomplete (129, 132, 135, 138, 141, 156) and several missing
(144, 147, 150, 153). Here are the file sizes we have today:

 348840721 Jun 25 10:09 gfs.t12z.pgrb2.0p25.f174

Are other folks seeing these? These seem to be a regular occurrence
now (once every couple of days), since the switch from GFS to FV3 on
June 12th.

Thanks,

David
