IDV version 4.0

The Integrated Data Viewer (IDV) version 4.0 is available now. This is a major release and is recommended for all users. It can be downloaded at:

https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/idv/current/index.jsp.

New features

System Changes:

• Latest netCDF-Java 4.3 library
• New minor version of Java 6

Display Changes:

• Grid Trajectory Display
• Contour labeling frequency

Data Changes:

• Non standard calendars
