The NSF Unidata THREDDS development team is happy to announce the release of version 5.11.0 of the netCDF-Java/Common Data Model (CDM) library. This release contains a number of enhancements, bug fixes, and 3rd party dependency updates. New features include support GRIB-2 template 3.33 and RRFS aerosol product support, upgrades to NCEP GRIB2 tables, and improving xpublish DAP2 compatibility.

Version 5.4.0 of the netCDF Operators (NCO) has been released. Some notable features include:

• All operators allow setting the netCDF4 metadata block size. 
• Many operators now optionally preserve orphaned dimensions. 
• ncclimo can now climatologize simulation ensembles. 
• ncremap tolerates absent hybrid p0/P0 variables. 

Users interested in these features should upgrade to 5.4.0.

A new AWIPS release, version 23.4.3-1, is available for both EDEX and CAVE. This release includes an upgrade of Java 11 to Java 17 as well as some bug fixes and new content. This version is compatible with the previous 23.4.1-1 release.
