[Support #UXN-404018]: Machine config for UW-AOS Eq Grant THREDDS server

This seems reasonable to me.  I would ask Mike to weigh-in with his
observations, but he is currently out of the office until next week.
If you can wait for Mike to return, you would get a better evaluation
of your proposed setup.  (Aside, I think you mean 1.8 TB on the RAID
10 machine).

Mike may or may not have experience in doing what you are thinking of.
I can tell you that some of the biggest headaches we have had with
machines we operate here relate to RAID setup (flakey RAID controllers
or drivers that do not properly work on the controllers that we
have).
