Edin,
I misunderstood and thought all the threads were reading the same file.
I agree with you that multiple threads reading different files shouldn't
interfere with each other, and if they do that sounds like a bug in
netCDF-4. I'll Cc: Ed and see if he knows about what might cause the
problem ...
