Alternatively, you could try building the library from the netCDF 3.5 alpha release containing the new cfortran.h file, by getting ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/netcdf/netcdf-3.5-alpha.tar.Z I'm not sure the new cfortran.h will make the unsatisfied external message about "_fxstat" go away, but at least two users have reported success with this combination. --Russ
