20000414: dcgrib error messages

Harry,

The invalid grid message you are getting is that you have both grid 207 and 
grid 211
of the ngm trying to be written to the same file. The 211 grid is the
[YZ].Q.*/mNGM and 207 is [YZ].N.*/mNGM.

Its OK to use a single pattern action that matches all the different NGM grids
in the data stream if you use the @@@ template in dcgrib so that the different
grid projections will be written to different file names, eg:
YYYYMMDDHH_ngm@@@.gem

The other messsage about "skipped"is generally eaither thatthe parameter is not
found in the $GEMTBL/grid/wmogrib2.tbl (parameter 2, vcoord 102, level 0)-
which should be there, or that the tables weren't found with the GEMTBL 
environmental variable,
or that the file was full. If the file is full, then we would want to increase 
the maximum number of
grids allowed in the grid file with the -m option to dcgrib. The default is 
1500 which
should be sufficient unless more than the ngm is being written to the 211 file- 
such as eta
grids sneaking in there too. We should double check the pqact.conf entry if 
that is the case.
