The entries that match the default configuration for Garp are at:

For the NGM which you were having trouble with,

        PIPE    /usr/local/ldm/decoders/dcgrib -d data/gempak/logs/dcgrib.log
                -g /home/gempak/NAWIPS-5.4/gempak5.4/tables 
                PACK data/gempak/hds/YYYYMMDDHH_ngm@@@.gem


The @@@ template gets replaced by the grid id number so that the 4
different grid sets get written to unique file names (this was a PL12 addition).
