20000229: Gempak LInux binaries

Dave,

Thanks for taking the initiative on things. I've posted the recompiled
pl16 Linux as you probably saw earlier.

I did have one question regarding your mention of RH 6.0 vs 6.1.
We're running 6.1 here. The major problem I encountered tring to run 5.2
binaries on 6.0 was that gplt would hang. I haven't experienced
any 6.0/6.1 problems otherwise. Both are glibc2.1. 

If you have any information on what is problematic between the two,
that info would be helpful.

In the mean time, you should start seeing more conduit NMC2 data flowing
for the first time in months!
