Chris, The MRF 1x1 degree initialization in GRIB format is at: ftp://140.90.6.103/ncepb/mrf/mrf.cur/drfmr.T00Z.PGrbF00 This includes the land mask which dcgrib will decode on level=0, gvcord=none, gfunc=land. I have attatched to this message the field extracted into a gempak grid file.
