Unidata AWIPS 17.1.1 is now available for Red Hat/CentOS 6/7 and macOS. Please see the AWIPS User Manual for installation instructions: https://unidata.github.io/awips2/

This is a major release which includes support for GOES-16(R) ABI and GLM and a retooling of WarnGen for non-operational use.

GEMPAK version 7.3.2 is available as source code and 64-bit RHEL/CentOS binaries build with and without AWIPS Python.

The Integrated Data Viewer (IDV) version 5.4 is available now. This is a major release and is recommended for all users.

MetPy 0.5.1 has been released, addressing some issues in 0.5.0. For full release notes see the GitHub Release Page.

The NetCDF-Java/Common Data Model (CDM) library and THREDDS Data Server (TDS) version 4.6.10 releases were finished on April 19th, 2017.

Siphon 0.4.1 has been released with fixes for some minor issues in 0.4.0, including various fixes for catalog parsing, as well as updated documentation. Full releases notes are available on the GitHub Release page

NCAR's Computational & Information Systems Laboratory released version 6.4.0 of the NCAR Command Language (NCL) on February 28, 2017.
