TDS version 5.8 released

The NSF Unidata THREDDS development team announced the THREDDS Data Server (TDS) version 5.8 release on October 23rd, 2025. This is a bug-fix-only release, and, if upgrading from v5.7, does not require any special changes to the TDS configuration. The major bug addressed in this release is related to caching of certain types of datasets on startup. More information about the release, including a list of additional bug fixes, can be found on the GitHub release page. The TDS war and TDM jar files can be obtained from the downloads section of the NSF Unidata website. Docker images of the TDS and TDM are available through DockerHub (more information can be found on the thredds-docker GitHub repository).
