Hi Lizhi,

You can find examples of using BaseMapAdapter in several
programs in the visad/examples directory:

  MapProjectionDisplay.java
  SatDisplay.java
  SimpleMcIDAS.java

and another example in:

  visad/data/mcidas/TestArea.java

Note that the class:

  visad.data.mcidas.MapForm

translates BaseMapAdapter into a form that conforms to
the VisAD conventions for file/server format interfaces
(i.e., MapForm extends Form).

Good luck,
Bill
