Hi Tom, Attached is the csv file. I'm trying to map 7 input fields to the first and last string names. I tried separating the parameters in the first 2 lines with just blanks since that's what the documentation said: "commas should be avoided in the format pattern if a comma is used as he delimiter" but had the same error: "source could not be converted to a VisAD data object" Thanks, -----Original Message----- From: Tom Whittaker [mailto:tomw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, July 07, 2003 8:14 AM To: tomw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: .csv file Hi: Would you please send me the first few lines of your .csv file so I can see what you are trying to do. One other comment: when you have more than 3 domain components, then you must use the "linear sampling form" [which is where I've found a problem] -- you cannot specify the domain value for each point, since the TextAdapter only supports Irregular sampling for up to 3D. tom -- Tom Whittaker (tomw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) University of Wisconsin-Madison Space Science and Engineering Center Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies Phone/VoiceMail: 608.262.2759
