Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.

Hello, Just wondering something: Can visad support multiple perspectives i.e. can a same DataObject be shared by different views (but views remain independant)?
I'm not sure what you are asking. If you are asking can a data object be displayed in several different displays, the answer is yes. You would just use the same data object for the setData() call of any DataReference in a display. The caveat would be that if you are linking a FieldImpl with a DirectManipulationRenderer in a DataReference, then if you manipulate the object, the data changes will be reflected in all views of that data (which can be a good thing). Please let me know what you mean by "views" - data depictions, or separate displays?
