Hi Helen, Since I'm not an OpenGL/J3D expert I cannot say exactly what is going on. But if I should make a guess I would say you have a problem with your java3d installation, perhaps a version conflict (Function=DrvValidateVersion+0x747B0). Did you uninstall the DirectX J3D before installing the OpenGL J3D? Where did you install the OpenGL J3D? In your JDK directory or separately? Where was/is the DirectX version installed? Perhaps someone else on the list can help you out of this. I would be interested where the atio2kai.dll belongs to since this is where the exception occures. All I can say is that my OpenGL J3D 1.3 beta2 with j2sdk1.4.0 works fine on my win2k. Hope that helps, Mathias
