Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
I have constructed a nice 3 d display with jython and visad. This takes considerable CPU time to construct. Is there a simple way to capture the 3d display for later viewing? I guess I could serialize the data objects and reconstruct the display by reading them back in, but I wondered if there is some short cut command to do this quickly. G. Garrett Campbell Ph. D.
