Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
Hi Markus, > Is there a ready-to-use implementation for constructing the 3D-Voronoi > faces (with or without having the triangulation)? There's nothing like this built into VisAD, yet. If someone creates such a thing, we'd like to include it or add a web link to it. > Or can anybody give me a hint where I can look for algorithms that > create 3D-faces from a Delaunay triangulation? I did a very brief web search and didn't find any existing free Java implementations of Voronoi algorithms, but that doesn't mean that they are not out there. VisAD's Delaunay algorithms by Watson and Clark were rewritten in Java from C++, which would be another option.
