There is something a bit subtle in Cristy's problem, since he gets the desired behavior under Solaris but not under Windows. It sounds like the TEXT panel may be in a heavyweight component, since it works under Solaris. I took a quick look through Sun's Bug Database and saw a couple that might be related to this, but its hard to be sure.
