Hi Jim, The widgets in the visad.util package all relate to specific Control sub-classes for visualization controls, except for VisADSlider which is a collaborative slider (VisADSliders on different machines all control a shared Real value). So we don't have a widget as you describe. You could of course build one on top of Swing without too much difficulty.
