I have been very encouraged and impressed by recent applications of VisAD and have added a section to the web page describing them. One remarkable development, not discussed yet on this list, has been Lutz Laemmer's extension of DataRenderer for custom texture mapping, as described at: http://www.sect.mce.hw.ac.uk/~laemmer/visad We are very interested to hear about applications of VisAD.
