I have set up an automated system which accesses the NCEP model forecasts daily using the http://thredds.ucar.edu/ catalog to create inputs for our daily COAWST model. Those scripts have failed because the url path as well as field/variable names have changed without notice. This is not the first time I have faced this problem. Is there a summary or a list serve where these changes are announced? It would be very helpful to know ahead of time so I could catch the changes and update the scripts rather than losing several days of work.
