Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
Hi Guy,I may be misunderstanding your question, but you should be able to specify a dataset name in your catalog, rather than necessarily relying on information in a netCDF file or group of files. In the <dataset> tag, just make sure you put in:
name="my dataset" Does this answer your question, or are you looking for something else? Regards, Lansing Madry Unidata Boulder, Colorado On 6/27/2013 5:03 AM, Guy Griffiths wrote:
All,I am trying to find out how TDS obtains the title from a NetCDF dataset. When a single file is used, the title comes from the global "title" attribute. However, I do not know what happens in the case where multiple files make a single dataset. If anyone could shed some light on this for me I would be most grateful.Regards, Guy Griffiths _______________________________________________ thredds mailing list thredds@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFor list information or to unsubscribe, visit: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/mailing_lists/
