these are regular expressions, not wildcard syntax. I think you would
need for those 2 examples:

C:/data/datasets/forecasts/DNMI-Nsea.2011-07-..\.grb$

C:/data/datasets/forecasts/DNMI-Nsea.2011-07-.*grb$

The $ "end anchor" is important to exclude index files that sometimes
are in the same directory.
