Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
We did this update. Do to some other problems, I noticed our catalina.out was huge. We got expressions like: regexp .*\.nc$ on regexp .*\.nc$ on /u00/satellite/cwtest2/aqua/modis/mercator/chlora/D1/MODSCW_P2009106_C3_1755_1930_1935_GM05_closest_chlor a.nc match=true that are filling up our catalina.out . No other changes were made. Even switching back to out old java does not seem to correct this. Any ideas of what is going on? -Roy On Feb 16, 2011, at 12:45 PM, John Caron wrote: > This update fixes a DoS attack vulnerabilty that has been widely publicized > and trivial to implement. > We recommend you upgrade your Java to 6u24 on all public servers asap. > > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: Release Announcement: CPU11_01 Java SE Critical Patch Update > Date: Tue, 15 Feb 2011 21:03:28 -0800 > From: Ingrid Yao <ingrid.yao@xxxxxxxxxx> > Reply-To: ingrid.yao@xxxxxxxxxx > To: cap-feedback@xxxxxxx <cap-feedback@xxxxxxx> > > Dear CAP members, > > We are pleased to announce the public availability of the Feb 2011 Java SE & > Java for Business Critical Patch Update > (CPU11_01) which went live today at approx 12 noon PT on java.com, OTN, and > java-partner.sun.com. > > The following updates include: > 6u24 Java SE & Java for Business, > 5.0u28 Java SE & Java for Business, > 1.4.2_30 Java SE & Java for Business > > For specific links to public product Downloads & Release Notes: > What > Where > Java SE 6u24 on OTN (+ Intel Itanium) > Java SE Timezone Updater 1.3.35 > http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html > http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/6u24releasenotes-307697.html > > Java SE 6u24 on java.com http://java.com/en/ > http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp > Java for Business 6u24 > http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/documentation/overview-156328.html > Java for Business 5.0u28 > http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/documentation/overview-137139.html > Java for Business 1.4.2_30 > http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/documentation/overview-142120.html > Java Partner downloads > on java-partner.sun.com > For Java for Business, PC OEMs, source licensees are available via passwd > protected accounts on https://java-partner.sun.com/ > MOS Internal Support Docs > https://support.us.oracle.com/oip/faces/secure/km/DocumentDisplay.jspx?id=1231283.1 > ** Co-bundled products such as Java FX, NetBeans will be forthcoming on the > OTN download page > > > -- > Best Regards, > <Mail Attachment.gif> > Ingrid Yao | Early Access Program Support Engineer > Phone: +1 408 2767338 > Oracle Java Standard Edition > 4140 Network Circle USCA22-317 | Santa Clara, CA 95054 > <Mail Attachment.gif> Oracle is committed to developing practices and > products that help protect the environment > > > > > _______________________________________________ > thredds mailing list > thredds@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > For list information or to unsubscribe, visit: > http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/mailing_lists/ ********************** "The contents of this message do not reflect any position of the U.S. Government or NOAA." ********************** Roy Mendelssohn Supervisory Operations Research Analyst NOAA/NMFS Environmental Research Division Southwest Fisheries Science Center 1352 Lighthouse Avenue Pacific Grove, CA 93950-2097 e-mail: Roy.Mendelssohn@xxxxxxxx (Note new e-mail address) voice: (831)-648-9029 fax: (831)-648-8440 www: http://www.pfeg.noaa.gov/ "Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill."
