NCO has implemented those changes into the parallel NAM. Effective with tomorrow's (Sep. 27) 12Z run, we will run a 2 week parallel. We don't require evaluators to provide new slide packages for this parallel, but we do ask that SPC and AWC in particular do some spot checks of the parallel over the next 2 weeks to ensure the changes look acceptable. We will not be rebriefing Dr. Uccellini on this. Please email me with input (text only is fine) and I will forward your feedback to Dr. Uccellini. If there are no issues with this 2 week parallel, we will be implementing the NAM NMM-B into production on October 18.
