The scheduled changeover of the MODIS HDF files has been completed.  The
files are now internally compressed using the HREPACK function.  The
external compression of the files has also been deactivated.  The HDF
files will now all end with .hdf rather than .hdf.gz

If there are any problems with the files, please let us know.
