The NOAA National Weather Service MicroART upper air system at Hilo, Hawaii 
(WMO# 91285), will be decommissioned on or about July 2, 2010, and installation 
of the new Radiosonde Replacement System (RRS) will begin.  No upper air 
observations will be provided from this office while RRS is being installed.

Beginning July 12, 2010, or shortly thereafter, upper air observations will be 
issued using the RRS and GPS Mark IIA Sippican radiosondes.

Please update your databases.
