BASED UPON CUSTOMER FEEDBACK...THE CONTENT OF THE CLIMATOLOGICAL
REPORT /LONGER TERM/...PRODUCT CATEGORY CLM IS BEING MODIFIED. THIS
CHANGE WILL PROVIDE FOR A STREAMLINED AND MORE USER-FRIENDLY FORMAT.
ALL NWS WEATHER FORECAST OFFICES /WFOS/ WILL TRANSITION TO THIS
MODIFIED FORMAT BEFORE THE SEPTEMBER 2004 CLM PRODUCT /ISSUED IN
EARLY OCTOBER 2004/. SOME WFOS WERE ABLE TO START USING THE MODIFIED
FORMAT BEGINNING WITH THE JUNE 2004 PRODUCT /ISSUED IN EARLY JULY/.

SPECIFICALLY...THE FOLLOWING ELEMENTS WILL NO LONGER BE PART OF THE
STANDARD CLM CONTENT. NOTE: THESE ELEMENTS MAY STILL BE CARRIED AS
SUPPLEMENTAL DATA BASED UPON LOCAL NEEDS.
