Software upgrade at the NCF

On Thursday August 31 the NCF will be upgrading our software
on its communications processors to complete the installation
of build 4.3.3 software at the NCF.  This upgrade will be coordinated
with the weekly Amdahl swap at the NWSTG so that no additional
downtime in transmission of the NWSTG data should be encountered.
AMDAHL swap is scheduled for 14:20z. This upgrade will require an
interruption of GOES-E and GOES-W transmission. This interruption
should last no more then 20 minutesbeginning at 14:20z.
NCF will send admin messages prior to and following the completion
of this upgrade.
