We have another delay in the implementation of FMH-1 and WSOH #7. At
the last meeting of the Ad-hoc group for FMH-1, it was discussed that
all agency handbooks and the new FMH-1 must be implemented at the same.
The NWS requires a minimum of 30 days notice from the OFCM prior to
implementation of the FMH-1. Implementation of the handbooks and
FMH-1 must also occur on the 1st of the month. The NWS is not expected
to be notified by the OFCM on the implementation of FMH-1 until
September. The new tentative implementation (effective) date is
November 1, 1994.
