Greetings, Due to a ground system software update, there will be a period of 15 hours where GOES-16 GLM navigation errors of up to 25 km are present in the data. This window begins on Thursday 12-1-2022 at 18Z through 12-2-2022 09Z. During this time GLM data from GOES-16 is expected to continue to transmit, but may be inaccurate. It is also likely that the gridded GLM data available on the IDD will show subsequent degradation during this time.
