Hello,
I am unable to install the latest version of netcdf 4.9.3 on my
Ubuntu 24 version.
I get these errors -
/usr/bin/ld: ../liblib/.libs/libnetcdf.so: undefined reference to
`curl_easy_getinfo'
/usr/bin/ld: ../liblib/.libs/libnetcdf.so: undefined reference to
`curl_easy_setopt'
/usr/bin/ld: ../liblib/.libs/libnetcdf.so: undefined reference to
`curl_global_cleanup'
/usr/bin/ld: ../liblib/.libs/libnetcdf.so: undefined reference to
`curl_easy_init'
/usr/bin/ld: ../liblib/.libs/libnetcdf.so: undefined reference to
`curl_easy_perform'
/usr/bin/ld: ../liblib/.libs/libnetcdf.so: undefined reference to
`curl_easy_cleanup'
/usr/bin/ld: ../liblib/.libs/libnetcdf.so: undefined reference to
`curl_global_init'
/usr/bin/ld: ../liblib/.libs/libnetcdf.so: undefined reference to
`curl_easy_strerror'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
My command line looks like this ./configure --enable-curl --enable-dap
and when I look at the config.log I see this
configure:7422: gcc -o conftest -fno-strict-aliasing conftest.c -lcurl
>&5
/usr/bin/ld: /usr/local/lib/libcurl.so: undefined reference to
`SSL_get0_group_name@OPENSSL_3.2.0'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
I do have openssl installed under /usr/local/lib
Any suggestions would be appreciated,
Regards,
Ashwin.
