Dear list,

I have a project which has been using NetCDF for some years, through the old 
C++ interface from the mid 90's.
Now I consider migrating to NetCDF4 and the new C++ interface, if the amount of 
work is manageable.

Have anyone experience in this migration, are the two C++ interfaces fairly 
similar at the class/function signature level, or is it necessary to adapt to a 
completely new interface?
