Hi everyone, It's been a long way coming, and after some hard work we've finally managed to get netCDF 4.3.3.1 in Debian experimental yesterday [1]. We'll work on the incoming bug reports, and somewhere in the next couple of weeks it should be promoted to unstable [2] from where it can be distributed further into the other distributions. The switch from 4.1.3 to 4.3.3.1 was a major effort, particularly since C++ and Fortran interfaces were broken out and the default build system changed. What had made it easier is how swift and gracefully pull requests to master are handled in netCDF. Future releases (like 4.4.0) should go in faster. Cheers, Nico [1] https://tracker.debian.org/news/688997 [2] https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/netcdf
