Hi, The days of the week for the upcoming netCDF training workshops are actually *Thursday and Friday*, October 25-26, *not* Monday and Tuesday as appeared in last week's email. Workshop Registration has been extended until Monday, October 1st, for Unidata's NetCDF Training Workshops scheduled for Oct 25-26, so please make sure to register before then! There are still plenty of openings. Please see the following link for more information: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/events/2012TrainingWorkshop/ *Thursday*, October 25, we've scheduled "NetCDF for New Users", in which we will attempt to cover: - Unidata software and services overview - Overview of the netCDF-3 and netCDF-4 data models and architecture - Description of programming interfaces for C, Java, and Fortran - Generic netCDF utilities: ncdump, ncgen, nccopy, nc-config - Best practices for providing data and developing archives - Conventions for coordinate systems, gridded, and observational data - Making use of netCDF-4 features - Remote data access with the netCDF DAP client - HDF5 topics of interest netCDF users *Friday*, October 26, is "NetCDF for Advanced Users", which includes discussions of advanced topics and recent developments.
