Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
Two issues with Netcdf-Fortran 4.2-beta2 1) Symbol nf90_hdf5 appears to be missing. 2) nf-config produces the output below. With 4.2-final, is it intended that the options that return @FOO@ will be fixed or deleted? If I want to know if my netCDF-Fortran installation supports nc4 (say) will the recommended procedure be to query nf-config, or the nc-config of the underlying C library? If the latter, then will nf-config help me find where that is? $ nf-config --all This netCDF-Fortran 4.2-beta2 has been built with the following features: --cc -> gcc --cflags -> -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include --libs -> -L/usr/local/lib -lnetcdf -L/usr/local/lib -L/usr/local/lib -lnetcdf -lhdf5_hl -lhdf5 -lm -lz -lcurl --cxx -> @CXX@ --has-c++ -> @HAS_CXX@ --fc -> gfortran --fflags -> -g -O2 -I/usr/local/include --flibs -> -L/usr/local/lib -lnetcdff -lnetcdf -L/usr/local/lib -L/usr/local/lib -lnetcdf -lhdf5_hl -lhdf5 -lm -lz -lcurl --has-f77 -> @HAS_F77@ --has-f90 -> yes --has-dap -> @HAS_DAP@ --has-nc2 -> @HAS_NC2@ --has-nc4 -> @HAS_NC4@ --has-hdf5 -> @HAS_HDF5@ --has-hdf4 -> @HAS_HDF4@ --has-pnetcdf-> @HAS_PNETCDF@ --has-szlib -> @HAS_SZLIB@ --prefix -> /usr/local --includedir-> /usr/local/include --version -> netCDF-Fortran 4.2-beta2 Mark Hadfield "Kei puwaha te tai nei, Hoea tahi tatou" m.hadfield@xxxxxxxxxx NIWA Please consider the environment before printing this email.
