[netcdfgroup] Convert netcdf-3 file to all fixed dimensions

Hi,
Anyone know of a quick way to convert a relatively large (~2GB) netcdf-3 file with a record dimension to a netcdf-3 file with all fixed dimensions?
In case anyone was wondering why: I need to do this because reading the record dimension in a large file takes way too much time for my particular application (an iphone app).
