Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
Hi, Thanks to Alexander Bruhn, there is now a precompiled netCDF DLL for Windows with the associated declarations needed for manipulating netCDF data in Excel with VBA. Using this combination, netCDF data can be easily analyzed or plotted with Excel built-in functions. Known limitations are those imposed by Microsoft, for example the maximum number of rows and columns, and the maximum number of cells in a worksheet. The DLL provides access to the most commonly used functions in the NetCDF C Library. The web page http://netcdf4excel.free.fr/ describes how this is done, provides a download of the DLL, links to an Excel worksheet containing examples, and explains the examples. --Russ _____________________________________________________________________ Russ Rew UCAR Unidata Program russ@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.unidata.ucar.edu
