Hi Daran, NCO is a set of command line utilities that do useful things to netCDF files. ncks is one such operator: ncks -H -v temperature -d lon,100.0 -d lat,40.0 -d lev,700.0 data.nc , e.g., prints value of temperature nearest 700mb nearest Denver.
