We have been trying to port the netCDF interfaces (C and C++) to 
the PC platform using the Microsoft Developer Studios Visual C++ 4.0. 

We seek directions on this porting issue and much appreciate message 
from someone who has already done this porting.

Also, where can one get the XDR sources to port on a PC (if indeed
this layer needs to be installed)?
