Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
X-sub: B.Bretthauer@xxxxxx >> billion P 1.0e9 >> trillion P 1.0e12 >Don't the British use `billion' to mean 1.0e12 (i.e. isn't the British >`billion' the USA's `trillion')? The US billion is the german "Milliarde", while the US trillion is the german "Billionen". This is alway a problem if reading translations from US articles: You never now if the translator changed billions to Milliarde. Don't know about the british meanings. Bernward Bretthauer
