They are supporting it.  We have been an alpha site for testing it.  I've
placed the interface document on anonymous ftp.

chinook.atd.ucar.edu:/pub/wavehdf.ps

This should cover the details you are interested in.  The support exists for
Command Language, I don't believe it exists for Point & Click.
