          I've been working with installing the NetCDF software in DOS 
          5.0, using a Microsoft QuickC compiler.  I've tried writing 
          a simple C program using nccreate() and linking it to the 
          libraries xdr.lib and netcdf.lib (both downloaded from the 
          ftp site, and made using the QuickC compiler on my own 
          system).  In all cases I get a "fix-up overflow error" 
          targeting the external, NCCREATE.
          
          I am unfamiliar with this error - does it ring a bell to 
          anyone else?
