Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
I'm investigating what it would take to aggregate multiple datasets with different bounds into a single logical dataset. These datasets have the same variables and dimensions and differ only in the areas they cover, so my question is: 1. is such a thing possible with NCML? I've been unable to find any doc/examples of this 2. If this is possible, does the data have to be completely adjacent or can there be gaps? 3. Can such an aggregation be nested in other types of aggregations (i.e. joinExisting etc.)? -- Clifford M. Harms
