hi Brian, thanks for clarifying.
We just use slf4j in netcdf-java, so theres no log4j or log4j2
dependence. We have switched to log4j2 in the TDS; I was just confusing
myself, but luckily not you.

In 4.4 we have switched to log4j2, so the config file is a bit different.
