Sure no problem. The patch is attached to this email. It allows the NetCDF ant 
build to produce a Maven central uploaded pom which allows a release manager to 
push the NetCDF build jars to Maven Central.

+1, agreed. But, to do that we need to decide on the following things:

1. what namespace to publish opendap under at Maven Central. i.e., should we 
create an org/opendap namespace? If so, let me know and I can file the issue at 
Sonatype today to take care of that (and report back to this list the info)

2. I'm waiting to hear back from James on whether we can license OPeNDAP as 
ASLv2. Though this isn't *strictly* required, it would be of great help to me 
in this process as I try and include the jar deps in my downstream Apache 
projects :)
