Hello, We have been using the NetCDF library to read HDF5 files for about 6 months. Our image-supplier is about to increase the resolution of the images we’ll receive, but unfortunately the stable NetCDF library crashes on those files. In response to this message: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/mailing_lists/archives/netcdf-java/2007-November/000477.html , I just wanted to let you know that NetCDF version 4.0 opens the new files without a problem. Comparing the results of NetCDF to HDFView, I only noticed the colormap being read differently. Please let me know if you’re interested in an example file (can I send attachments to this list?)
