3) How do you change the units of fields such as temperature? Most (except SST's) seem to be displayed in Kelvin.
Hi Hector et. al., When IDV recognizes a unit, it provides conversion to other scales. On the Displays menu (typically the right hand side of your IDV application) if you right click on a field whose units you wish to change, a drop-down menu will appear. Scroll to Edit which will have its own drop-down menu. One of the options is "Change Display Unit" - typically in the case of temperature, you will see all three scales (Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin), pick your favorite and the IDV will do the conversion.
