Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
Greetings all, It's been a while since we've heard any news on this front, but this PNS ( https://www.weather.gov/media/notification/pdf2/scn22-77_sbn_galaxy31_change.pdf) was just issued announcing plans to change satellites "effective early 2023." The tentative transition schedule is below: NOV 2022: G31 Planned Launch Date FEB 2023: Dual Illumination Period APR 2023: Complete Transition to G31 Also of note is that the satellite we'll be switching to, Galaxy 31, will be a new one launched later this year ( https://www.satbeams.com/satellites?id=2748). If I see any more details come across I'll forward them here as well.
